The Rawhide Rodeo Company resides is the rolling hills of Leicester, New York. The ranch spreads across a thousand acres of open, grazing land, home to Rawhide's championship livestock. Sam Swearingen began a breeding program here, 21 years ago, with the intention of producing quality rodeo livestock.

To date over 150 horses reside at the ranch along with numerous herds of steers and bulls.

These animals are the pride and joy of the Rawhide Rodeo Company and they are treated with the utmost of care and affection. Hundreds of tons of sweet feed, hay, corn, and grass are consumed each season by these animals which ensures strong, healthy athletes and babies.  

Sam Swearingen is constantly adding to the quality of his breeding program with purchases of well-bred bucking stock from other ranches throughout the United States and Canada. His most recent addition was the purchase of a new stud horse, bred back to both a World Champion stud horse and World Champion mare.
